  • By offering specialist tours into the Desert fulfilling our main objective to generate interest in North Africa and the Sahara Desert, ensuring the viability of protecting a unique and fragile desert ecosytem for future generations.
  • By organising ground-breaking conferences on the interdisciplinary themes of prehistory, the environment, heritage & culture etc.

    •  Next conference venue is 3rd to 11th November 2007 in Valletta in Malta. Future venues to be confirmed are in Algeria in 2008, and Libya in 2009

    By working with our wide network of overseas contacts we are able to support a number of conservation and other projects through our tours. Donations from Desert Fox Overland are made on a regular basis to our supported causes, and more details on these will follow.

    A small number of our tours can be *tailor-made,offering you, the discerning client a positively unforgettable desert experience. However most of our tours offered are specialised, due to the types of projects we are involved with, and the nature of the extreme terrain we travel through.

    Our experienced Desert Fox Overland crew, and our excellent overseas support team will work closely with you to create (and develop) an ideal *tour for you (and/or your group). Moreover we can offer group discounts for three or more people travelling together; these work by reducing the overall costs for each person on a tour, and the more people who book, the more economical the costs for one person becomes. 

    Group bookings are the most popular, and additionally, by joining our Desert Fox Club, you are entitled to 25% - 30% discount on several of the tours offered by us. Subscription is free, and with your subscription membership you will receive free travel tips, information sheets, short reports and quarterly Newsletters of interest to you as a traveller in North Africa and the Sahara, together with information on our supported conservation projects.

    By working with local people and conservation groups, Desert Fox Overland provides the best guides to our teams. We work with recommended local agencies only.
